2012.03.03 Green Velvet AKA Cashmere Coming To Hamilton!!!!

Come join O Ultra Lounge at 612 Upper James St. in HAMILTON for its 7 year anniversary.
This year, O Lounge in conjunction with: SSN Productions, Allure Entertainment and Turntabulls present: GREEN VELVET aka CASHMERE to help ring in the 7 years that O Lounge has been putting Hamilton on the international House Music map.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Doors Open at 9:30.

hmmmmm if im not mistaken the first and last time i was at O lounge, Andy Moore was playing.... and this fight broke out on the dance floor around 12:30, and the police showed up and shut down the party. Andy was on for not even an hour, and the show was done.

1: What on earth does a party that happened 4 years ago have to do with Green Velvet and the O Lounge 7 year anniversary in 2012?
2: You are mistaken. Police did not shut down any party. Andy Moor played out his entire scheduled set. Yes, a fight happened that night, but that's a rarity at O Lounge.
3: Congrats to O Lounge on the 7 years of great events! This is actually Green Velvets 2nd time playing at O Lounge. The first time was about 4 years ago and one of my favourite jams, regardless of city or venue.
4: For disclosure, I have nothing to do with this event other than being a fan of the club.

I agree that this has nothing to do with this party but... I think Italian PoiSon is right, the police definitely shut down that party. We left right after the cops forced us out and i don't remember hearing that they let people back in.
Having said that, i think that was the only fight i ever saw there and we went almost every weekend back in 2008.
I will hopefully make it out to this. I miss that place :) |

dude you need to CHECK yourself, all that i was sharing was my first and only experience at that club.... i didnt say it was a bad club.... i didnt say it was a tiny club(it is thou).... and i didnt say that ppl should not go there....
if that fight didnt happen im sure i would of had an amazing time..... but the night was cut short unfortunatly and i dont live in hamilton so i never had the urge to go back there....
and the fight did happen, i think i even have pics of it on an old phone..... i clearly remember talking to Andy afterwards, and he was telling us how hes use to this kind of thing happening at other shows....
So i'll end off on a positive note.... Green Velvet is always a great booking and its awesome to see a club celebrating 7 years..... most clubs don't last 5 years these days.... |

I'm not sure how many people fit in Rendezvous but O Lounge is tiny and only holds about 150 people. I would assume that has something to do with the price. |
