Couldn't find an answer, until now... so I'm waiting for your opinions :)
It's 2012 now, so WTF??The 1080p blu-ray world dominates the movie industry, why the same thing not happening in electronic music too?
...Why ID&T doesn't want to make a Blu-Ray release for the Sensation event?...
Chimney
Why waste a perfectly good bluray disk on such a ty event?

hummm... good opinion :) but I forgot to specify that Q-Dance Label, and B2S already makin' blu-ray's for their hardstyle events (it's f**king great 'cause they release a special 3-disc pack collection - blu-ray + DVD9 + CD mix) :D and just remember that they're not as "big" as ID&T ;)
It's clear that I'm not the only person "requesting" "stuff"... for example, before the event, some people requested on their facebook page to let the innerspace untouched (to release the full show... more than 10 hours maybe... = 3DVD9 pack) :toothless of course this didn't happen & will never happen.

Maybe they want people to attend to the actual event not just watch that when home.
And if I've understood right, these kind of DVD's don't have the biggest amount of purchases so maybe they just don't want invest money for making them so special.
You can always email them or call them an request such a thing if you think it's important.

"world's leading dance event"
Worlds Most Common House Event, is more along the line its developed to, featuring the same DJ Act's over and over again, just in different parts of the world.
It's not about the music anymore for them, if it was, they would release better aftermath media. Now days, they only release a Mix CD which most often is a ty Mix CD, which you can access freely on Spotify.
Even The Prodigy releases their concerts on BluRay ;) ID&T are just clueless people loosing the focus of the people and glances more towards their bank accounts than anything else.

It's a event where 16-year old kids with no knowledge of EDM, who think Inna and Edward Maya are techno can dance to mainstream, high-synthed "house" music and post pictures of themselves holding a beer on Facebook acting as they've musically moved into some musically underground layer, away from the mainsteam likes.
Events like these are all about the money. Events like these are the reason why there are so many pseudo-DJs in the world that care more about being stars than playing music. The kind of DJs that take 200 pictures of themselves and records their "studio-sessions" so that they can post them on Facebook as if they're creating the next "Bromance". People with no originality who spin in a circle of music and wear "I (L) House" T-shirts.
Now, like I mentioned before, I have absolutely no problem with people's music taste, whether it's Bieber or whatever. However, when folks tell me this is techno - it bothers me:

:) VERY GOOD POINT, I Totally Agree with you, Chimney ;) mostly because I can feel that you wrote this reply from the "romanian's point of view", most of them thinking that "popcorn music"= eDM; generally speaking, they really don't know what electronic Music REALLY means, because they NEVER heard it, and they NEVER wanna give a try to listen to...
Maybe if I'll try to tell someone (that listen to pop-dance crap) to listen to Richie Hawtin, or ricardo villalobos or Booka Shade or whatever, because it's really good music, maybe  it'll be like : "wtf are you an alien, coming from another world?? wtf, never heard of them!!"
P.S. :
1. I removed video link from your quote, I really don't wanna "promote" on this forum :D
2. "event" that is all about the money is the (f**k off) Liberty Parade(f**k off vibe fm too - that's where all the with Inna & "Company" started), and that times Radio Deea (all my RESPECT for this radio station) was dropped out of FM frequencies(yes, here really was an "all about the money"thing) ,... but I still don't think that sensation is just a commercial event... let's wait for sensation bucharest to happen... if it'll be , I'm really gonna change my mind about sensation and all the whole ID&T thing.
3. Sorry for my long reply but I'm really havin' a good time chatting on this forum with people like you, people that really know to appreciate good music.
For the love of good electronic music!!:gsmile:

Why is any knowledge needed of EDM?
Those events are just to please people. As long as they have a good time it's fine.
And the average age for sure is higher.
ID&T is a good marketing machine, if a blue-ray would bring them a lot of money they would make a blue-ray version.
At least for Holland the market would be too small for a blue-ray version at this moment. Could be for Germany or the U.S. it's more interesting for them to make a blue-ray version.
Probably even the DVD's aren't sold in high numbers:
