| Carte Blanche easily. For An Angel is maybe my third- or fourth-favourite Paul van Dyk song. Nothing too too special if you ask me. Carte Blanche on the other hand is the best track I've ever heard, period. It is the archetypical trance tune -- a classic Corsten-esque Dutch bassline, piano-driven breakdown, soaring synths and an absolutely brilliant hands-in-the-air Vincent de Moor melody. 1999 in a nutshell and one for the ages. |

as if my opinion matters :happy2: and i know u all think it does, hah.
i grew into loving trance with for an angel, i didnt hear carte blanche until a while later when my friend played it on vinyl for me.
so i have to give it up to for an angel and i stick behind it! |
