Hi, I just got metrum and I've noticed huge cpu spikes using it with Logic. Like up to %70 . So I'm wondering if anyone else is getting this...

What version are you using? The earlier versions are notorious for being CPU hogs.
Raphie
latest versions are on their website, no issues here
Looney4Clooney
bought it for some reason. The thing is that it should of been for all drums, not just kick. The 3 sample limit is lame and ya, something cool that could of been better.

Did you update your SyncroSoft/eLicenser drivers when you installed it?

whats metrum?
Akira_Kayosa
not being funny.. but

if its only a kick drum you are using it for, why not render it down and just use the sample??

create any kick you like, then just use it in a sampler getting all the function you need out of it and no cpu hungry plugin

So i just checked, and I'm on logic 9.1.5 with predator 1.0.1 - I didn't realize that I went back that far with the versions to get it stable, and I know I had used 1.3 and 1.5 with stability issues.

Don't use 1.0 - I know that was buggy as .

However, Dave raises a good point, 1.6 (the new version) may be perfectly stable by updating your SyncroSoft/eLicenser drivers. I may do that later if people report that 1.6 is stable, but for now I'm sticking with 1.0.1.

No I didn't... Can I just update eLicenser now or do I need to uninstall Metrum and start all over?.
