tattoo ideas

| I'm thinking about getting a tattoo, but i don't really have any godd ideas for what to get. does any1 have any good ideas for this? I just want something simple, and about 2 inches on my forearm. |

well seriously:
I'd go for some tribal or somthing. I think it is really hard to choose a tatoo (i wouldn't get one for the fear of hating it at some point).
On second thought, if you don't have any good ideas, how come u want to have a tatoo in the first place? I mean, you are not just getting one for the sake of having a tatoo, are you? |

I was thinking of something tribal, but i'm not sure what. and it's not just for the sake of having a tattoo, I want one b/c i've always been somewhat interested in body art. I know I want to get something that somehow describes me, but i'm really just a simple guy. that's also why i want something small. Here's some advice from someone who has a lot of tattoos-
Be sure it is something u REALLY like, or has some meaning to you. The design u picked is pretty nice, as far as tribal work goes, but look into the meaning of the design b4 u get it done. Be sure u can relate to it first. Many of mine have a meaning behind it, or I've chosen really amazing artists whose styles are incredible & unique, & let them do something creative. And lastly, be SURE u pick a good artist. Check out their portfolio, make sure their lines aren't shaky, etc.... See if they've done a lot of custom work, vs. flash off the walls. |

Gotta agree with you there. Meant to mention that, but lost my train of thought.
A tattoo is a personal thing- it shouldn't be 'voted' upon by strangers. |
