I stand corrected, but then again I wouldn't know as I try to avoid KRK wherever possible.
AFAIK, you can't buy those the e8's anymore, and they completely redesigned the expose series so they look like rokits and ruined them in the process. |

The expose series unfortunately died because they were unable to get the same materials from the suppliers.
The e8b came out a few years ago, using aluminum beryllium tweeters. Apparently when you open the box, there is a warning in blood red not to have any contact with the tweeters as they are extremely hazardous to your health. |

Yeah, that's why you'll find Expose monitors second hand for cheap (because they have replacement parts, usually the tweeters), even though the people that own the unmodified original versions love them.
You simply cannot get any spares for them now. |
