Here's a tip, try embedding your music directly onto TranceAddict. Simply click share on the track on soundcloud then copy and paste the embed code into your TranceAddict post. Make sure you copy and paste it exactly.
Shall we start with the drums? The clap is mono and a bit strange sounding (maybe there is some reverb which doesn't work well in mono), try finding a clap sample which is more stereo as well as a hihat which is more stereo. A drum loop could achieve this well as some have good stereo sounds as well as being modern sounding. The drums sound dated and this will kill your productions out of the gates.
The bass doesn't sound too bad, though it isn't anything special. The melody of the lead is weak! It is hard to classify it as a melody. The lead instrument needs work, but it is a pretty good synth choice and you placed the notes in the right octave.
A good point is that the volumes are not too loud, which shows restraint. Also, there is not too much of any effects. The song will need more compression but you did not overcompress it or add too much reverb. |

Thanks for the feedback much appreciated...yeah its still very much a work and progress and just starting out in the producing work so im listening to new tips etc all the time.
