Is Stanley Kubrick one of the most overrated directors of all time?

Honestly, what do you guys see that is so good about him? He is total and when I am not stoned. I cannot help but laugh at almost all of the dialogue and scenes. What a ty writer and director. I can't help but think the only reason people think he is any good is because of the thousands of idiots that view him as a God. Add to that the fact he is a Jew and almost everyone involved in the Hollywood business is a Jew. Well you see where that is going.

I can't help but think of how pathetic the guy's movies were.

oh come on the least you could have done is say how his movies are pretentious, long and boring.

I, for one, have enjoyed a few movies by Mr. Kubrik. The only thing I didn't particularly care for was how he changed the ending to A Clockwork Orange from the book.

I think he is horrible, too. His problem was that he didn't make enough movies like Red Dawn, Transformers 3: Revenge of the Fallen, or Marmaduke. He also didn't make films with Van Diesel or John Cena or Duane Johnson, which sucks because they are all really good actors who have honed their craft to a fine art form.

Most of his movies aren't very realistic, either. Like who is going to ride a nuclear bomb? That's just stupid, because you'd die as soon as it blew up. And that song that they played at the end of 2001 is horrible and what is worse is that it completely slows down at the end and you can't even hear it, which I guess is the best part. Still, talking to a flower about a tandem bicycle is just a stupid idea for a song. Plus, they never explain how that guy could just float there in that room like that and the computers in that movie don't even look like today's computers.

i'm not going to attempt to make a rebuttal against this statement due to the fact he just drops the statement "overrated" without backing up his words. You have to give us clear examples why you think he is the way he is.
