Worked for a couple of hours on this today - What do you think?

I think it's really cool. I would classify it as 'electronic' more than anything. Like something an electronic band like Alan Parsons or Underworld might make.
There are a lot of cool ideas, the bass at the beginning immediately hooks the listener then it blends well as the other instruments come in. I necessarily don't agree with all the synths you chose but I can tell you are a good producer with original ideas. It sounds decently mixed as well. |

Thanks! I see what you mean about some of the synths - Im having second thoughts about that crystalline sound heard throughout. I'll make some revisions |

Like the melodic style here. The sounds are not right for me, but this is the bit that can take a long while to get right, no rush, enjoy the journey. I was going to leave it at that but I can remember getting similar comments myself and think wtf, what do they mean my sounds aren't right. What I mean is you have to be able to make sounds that people will instantly recognise as being of a quality over and above say what any old person might achieve.
At the mo your sounds seem like those you would here if this was a Yamaha organ demonstration - this is not at all an offensive comment, just trying to get you to listen better - you'll get there. |

Thanks - I understand completely - this is rather experimental for me is as well I don't usually make this kind of stuff - but I think I need to get some real monitors - right now I just have headphones. Thanks again though. |
