My friend Mike Henderson (DJ Endo) does tons of them for Dubspot. A goldmine for what you're looking for.

I don't suggest videos as many times the people teach you their bad habits and often they don't give the right theory...like that chick with the viral video about beatmatching David guetta as usher.

read theory
listen to music while beatcounting the whole time
listen to sets you like and try and wrap your head about how elements are being changed, added, subtracted.
Practice for hours on end even if you get frustrated at sucking. Record it and listen to mistakes to correct. Re record until it sounds good. Stuff like this will help your mechanics.

Videos on building a set will be useless as it is a skill that you need to train your ear, use your experience and knowledge to build a set in a way that is your own. You shouldn't worry about this at all because until you master the basics there will be no such thing as flow for you. Don't mimic others, use the theory and knowledge out there to do it the right way, your way.

also: learn to use google dammit, because if you can't find the resources yourself (which are abundant) you probably won't have patience to take the time to get good.

just what the world needs...another guy that wants to be a dj. so cliche:p

the obvious next step for the autosync button is an autodj button. it does everything for you including eqing and picking the music...just plug in your beats by dre, press play, and within minutes you will have a cocaine addiction and hpv or your money back!!

+1 for Mike Henderson, stand-up guy and knows his stuff!

No joke, I went out and bought the 'DJing for Dummies' book when I bought my beginner DJ rig. It was at Archambault, so I picked it up.. and while a lot of it is very straight forward and common knowledge for someone like you who knows the basics, its still full of useful information. I didn't read it cover to cover but the writer knows his .. It's made so that you can flip through chapters easily.

That Dubspot site is well put together. Looks like they do well.

I picked up this book about 7 years ago, I thought it was straight forward and helpful. I believe chapters still carries it.
