definitely been a while since I posted here. haha
anyways, realizing that ableton is a bit of a bore sometimes mixing, i'm thinking about picking up an s4 and was hoping somebody here was doing something like what I want to have planned.
basically, 2 channels for ableton (synths, freestyle drumming, etc) into the s4, and standard beatmatch with 2 channels in traktor.
am i safe to assume that I can just tap tempo traktor without it affecting the normal bpm of the track playing while having ableton slaved so my extra stuff stays in sync?
totally new to traktor so please excuse the ignorance.
thanks in advance
if how i'm thinking this will work be no problem, anybody interested in a xone22 and a audio dj 2? :) |

define a midi master app and sync the other one to it
Ableton Master sync
Traktor -> External sync (synced to ableton) (look for the metronome icon ;) )
There's loads of tutorials and explanations on how to do this, look them up :) |
