Thoughtless is pleased to present the debut release from Toronto upstarts Santini & Tellez. Their title track, 'Lost Thoughts,' pulls no punches, building steadily atop rubbery analog bass and modulating atmospheres into a blinding peak time work out. Canadian Border Community superstar Fairmont turns in his first work for the label with a shuffling remix that deploys his studio wizardry in service of maximal melodic interplay supported by an irresistible backbeat, while Siteholder's Alicia Hush takes her interpretation in the opposite direction, simmering the original down to a minimalist excursion geared for late night troopers. 'Solitude' sees the boys back at it with hypnotic bass, chopped vocals and reverberant textures impeccably executed to keep the floor moving with palpable tension. Showing their softer side on 'Princesse', wistful melodies mesh with lush strings and dubbed effects in a perfect end-of-the-night affair.
