I was too on Solarstone's set, at the right looking to him, a pity not to see you!
JOOF & Kearney did a stunning sets but i missed half an hour of Kearney's set, i was so tired.. |
Top night, I caught a bit of Solarstone too, but was having my 20 minutes of madness point.
I thought Patterson was awesome, really enjoyed his set when I listened it back as well. I couln't stay until the end as a mate drove down and had to leave after Patterson. Still had a blinder though. |

Yeah I loved JOOF, was real pounding psy at times and Astral Projection - The Prophecy at the end wow. Not a lot of the crowd were into it though. Thought Simon Patterson was really boring and disappointing as were suprisingly Ferry Tayle and Le Saux.
It really went off when Kearney played Armin's Who Will Find Me mash up and then Flight 643. Absolutly ballistic missile material! Sad you missed that. But yeah we were all super tired too. |

| That PVD track started out quite nicely, but the lead was too generic and the pay off was poor. Shame. |

Couldnt get into Patterson at all. Everything sounded the same. And couldnt hear anything other than a bassline from we were. It might have been sound system problems right enough. But I was bored less and went to sit donw before JOOF and Kearney smashed it. |

Yeah i've found Patterson's set bit dissapointing. I've expected more tunes like miss you, etc, more melodic stuff. He was too techier for me.
And the current music is boring right now |

Give his set a listen back. We was stood in the centre closer to the back (kind of underneath were the balcony overhangs) during his set and it sounded good were I was from. I like that it was less obvious for the most part for a change, he could have easily played it safe so nice to see him try something different. Two great tracks to open in We'll Never Die & Ride The Wave as well. |

Main thing was the unknown remix of Concrete Angel Emery played as his last tune. Its out of this world. Best vocal trance ive heard in years. Sounds like Oceanlab style. Armin is gona hammer it once he gets a hold of it. |
