cool beats :) nice and heavy.

Yeah. I like this, Richard. I don't have much else to say on it. It does remind me of a couple of old Hooj Choon proggy vinyls I had a while back.

kick will sound so bad loud. No bass. You have drums. Basically what those techno british techno guys were doing in 1995 except that was 1995. 20 years later , it just sounds like you've been under a rock.
MSZ
damn thats beefy, nice one.
Richard Butler
I think it's done, made a lot of final additions.

It's me doing the Berlin male voice - sounds more Russian though!

Any final thoughts?

a drum beat with random sounds. THe actual track has already been made about 100 times by guys in 2000. Why you feel this track needs to be heard i have a hard time understanding.

There is no groove. Nothing novel. Nothing that makes even a producer go, oh that was cool. Just awful is so many ways. The form , well lets just say your track is pretty much 1 bar. A drum loop. How you can just repeat that and not feel like your are churning out a complete turn and have the audacity to ask people what they think.

I dont' get that track either but at least it has somewhat of a production skill behind it. But ya, this was in 2000. Your track sounds completely redundant. Add to that that the only thing your track could possibly bring as you have no bass is a wide ass grove which you don't and sound design which you don't either. And the mix is just so banal and clean, i mean there is absolutely nothing of interest going on. 2 on 10. It is sad that you seem to take yourself with some level of seriousness with like having an artist name and trying to make a dent but this is just so bad that I wish someone would just tell you the bad news so you stop trying in something you just were not meant for.

sorry dude. I know its harsh but it really is that bad. IT isn't a genre thing. It is just bad. Forgettable uninspired trash unskilfully woven into a giant turd,

That running shaker/hat is a tad too high imo. apart from that it sounds cool, but im listening on pretty small speakers, so cant say much about whats happening below 350. the vocals kinda reminds me of this one track that was pretty awesome a couple of years ago but i cant for the life of me remember what it was called.

anywho, as usual, fag4hire shows his complete lack of understanding of the finer point of EDM, and especially techno. "a drum beat with random sounds" he said. LOL. And then he posts yet another track from 2000, why? because he hasn't listened to edm since then, and is really in no position to try to criticize the finer points of contemporary techno.
and lesbianas, it's not really the first sub-par record from 2000 he has pulled out claiming it has some sort of ingenious production skill. and as he says: "I dont' get that track either". If you don't get techno, then why the are you commenting on the track? I don't go around here commenting on trance tracks, because I don't listen to trance so therefor my comment would be obsolete. Also, I have a hard enough time listening to "professional trance", I'd hate to think what'd happen if I listenened to newb trance.

Anywho, off ass4gas. It's so clear you're butthurt from some other pissing contest thread, that you're going out of your way to on something he's made, you little 8 year old. it's a nice and clean techno track. perfect either peak time filler, or warmup banger.
i bet rhyme4actor doesn't know what either of those two concepts are.
MSZ
the recording is uneasy to listen to, too much compression usually does this.
Richard Butler
MSZ - it's not at all mastered, maybe that could be the cause of uneaseness you speak of? It's only slammed thru a limiter. Want to get the track basically where I want it before worrying about mastering. It would be easy to add some melodic touches byt honestly it's not what the track called for in my view.

DJ - yea techno is very much in this style I think just now, with one core repetetive beat the way thru, but I can see why it wouldn't be appealing to a lot of folk. I love this style the most just now, for me it's about the hypnotic quality and surrounding atmosphere, and for once I'm doing it the way I like. Thats what people always say - go with your heart.

L4C - absolutely get why this would seem 1 dimensional to some (a lot) of tastes but I think it's like very hot chilli food, you either like it or you don't. Fair play. All I will say is it didn't feel like a loop with sounds added. Took me an hour just to make the right clap that starts after a while. It pleases me this way, so, not a lot more I can say.
I did mean to comment on your uploaded older tracks but so far I could'nt find the right words but there's some skill in there.

I'm heavily influenced by people like the great Riuch Jones here, and this is pretty much typical of the techno front line right now;

I actually enjoy most of your posts on the more theory based topics. But its obvious you find a need to put down others, be a authority of absolutely everything.

Most likely you where bullied, neglected as a child or work/social life has brought on this need.

The track is nothing like what you describe, its not a classical piece wtf u expecting? Maybe EDM is so below you, that you should not even be on this forum.

Richard i enjoyed your previous versions, sounded alot cleaner.

Richard Butler
Julz, thanks - if L4C thinks this rendition is merely sounds over a loop, then the earlier more empty verions would seem like a bare sh1t house in the cold or something.

I value a lot of people's feedback here, whether highly critical or supportive.
L4C right form day one has said I'm cr@p and will never make it. Fair enough I guess. We all have differing tastes and perhaps his distilled critiques are the best there is, but I love production and hope I can contribute a little something.

If I had my way, all songs would be 13 minutes long, have maximum 2 synths in them, that played the same riff over and like one long a/descending line of automation for like the cutoff or something.
and the tiny offbeat hihat cant come in before the big breakdown.
