Hey guys,

ive never had to upload songs onto a forum so im wondering how best to do this. I have a few songs that I would like some advice on and wish to post them here on TA. Due to the fact that these songs wont be completed I dont wish to make them available for people to keep, I will however, make them available once they are totally completed.

cheers guys,
Anakratis

Embedding works for private tracks too.

Does it? I was sure that embedding using the link they give you wasn't going to work, but I never tried it. You learn something new everyday.

For quick feedback on melody, arrangement or structure, etc all good to use, but bad advice if you're looking for engineering/mixing feedback. I cannot stand the compression on soundcloud.

Yep. I always prefer to download a track.

I never download tracks. I find it annoying to have to download a track in order to listen and give feedback. A quick SoundCloud post may not get you the greatest detailed feedback, but you'll get more of them.

I can appreciate that. I always make down-loads available on soundcloud if I'm happy with a mix, though. I also have a pretty good collection of music as a result of downloading from soundcloud.

Not a big fan of downloading either. If I don't have any specific plans for a song, I'll make it downloadable from SC sometimes, but usually make them streaming only.
