funny quebec joke

so i have been taking a canadian american studies correspondance class, and very much understand the whole quebec vs the world thing. i have had another canadian intern sharing my office this summer, from vancouver... he loves to talk about how much quebec sucks.. heh.
so anyways, he found this joke and i think its hilarious, i didnt want to post it in chill room as most people might not understand why its so funny, so i decided to post it here! hope you guys enjoy ^_^

A dude from Quebec and a guy from Saskatchewan were walking along the shore when they came upon a genie's (yes I know, wrong spelling) bottle. They picked it up, rubbed it, and the Genie popped out.
"You guys each get 1 wish", said the Genie.
The dude from Quebec promptly stated:
'What aye waaant, iz uh waaalll, 10 mileees theeek and 10 mileees wide, zurrounding all ov Quebec!!"
The Genie smiled and said, "Ok, so you're wishing for a wall, 10 miles wide and 10 miles thick, which completely surrounds Quebec?"
"Yes, and eet muzt be totally IMPENETRABLE".
The Genie smiled again, snapped his fingers, and said, "It's done".
The Genie then looked at the guy from Saskatchewan and asked him what his wish was. The Saskatchewanian, with a glint in his eye, immediately stated:
"Fill that puppy up with water". |
