Please take a moment to check out this track. I appreciate it is still very rough around the edges and I may have gone overboard with the white noise. However, any feedback would be really welcome.

| It sounds good. The lead instrument at 46 seconds is a little cheesy though, the instrument sounds cooler in the breakdown. |

Great synth work and melodic touches - good trance this.
My only crit is that the kcik sounds too loud and / or not gelled into the mix during the intro parts.
Like all those trilly melody bits and the way the echo. |

Hi Richard,
Firstly thanks for checking out my track. Yep, I agree about the kick. Im thinking about replacing it altogether and choosing a more "subby" sample. The filtered kick intro is probably not needed either. It's actually an artifact of part of the side chain, so should probably bin it. I still think this track needs a lot of work. Will hopefully sort it out this weekend. So little time and too many ideas for other tracks!

Thanks for checking this out too! Yes, I know what you mean with this. Was scratching my head and trying out lots of different patches and settings for this. It does sound much better with lot's of reverb. However, it kinda got lost if I put that amount of FX with all the other stuff playing. I was going for a kinda gliding whistle sound with that lead. Might play around with some other settings or even another patch.

| Nice track! too housy for me though, but its just my taste. The about 0:40 lead sounds that its clipping or very bad EQ, can also be soundcloud distort. U might wanna change ur tail on the cymbal at the chorus. It's kinda too long. Also the hats sounded too wide and high for me but can be also wokr of soundclouds decoding :D Keep working! |

Great topic! I agree with everything said so far. But want to add one thing. Choose a spokesperson for the band. The engineer will apeciate it. The studio is a great place!
I could live in one if allowed. Very Happy Remember to relax and have fun.
