vs.
- no winter here at all
why haven't I heard a single meteorologist/newsperson say: "wow that's ed!?!"

I believe the warm winter in Canada is expected due to one of the el ni* weather cycles.
I need it to get ing cold in the next couple of weeks so I can go up north, and cross the lake to the cottage! It is on an island, and we get a bit sketched out going when we have had such warm winter.
Usually even with the warm spells, the ice is about a foot thick, but your mind has a way of playing tricks on you. |

Gotta admit I'm a bit envious of Canada's winter. Even though Britain is still as warm or warmer, I just thought I'd feel like I was missing out on more bitter cold being over here.
Eastern Europe is getting facked right now. |
