Yeah. They're still pretty high up there in price.
I love CDJs, but frankly they're just not worth the money. You can get a Denon equivalent that's almost as good for half the price... |

I owned the Denon "moving platter" decks when they first came out years ago. I think the model numbers were the 3000 and the 5000. I hated them. Admittedly, I haven't played on any newer model Denon though. Maybe they've gotten better.
On the topic of Pioneer gear though, they do sell affordable CDJs that work great. I own the 800's and love them. They don't have all the bells and whistles of the 1000/2000, but they are still totally legit. Even the cheaper models like the 350 and 400 are pretty good IMO. |

I'm with you on this man. I don't care for the Denon stuff at all. I used to play on the dual cd players back in the day and what a ing nightmare they are. I totally prefer cdjs (any make) to anything Denon. It's worth the extra price to not worry about equipment at a gig. |
