The reason I'm posting this is because I feel it is time for a "c0r primer/handbook" to help educate the n00bs as to the rich history of the c0r and some of the odd people that inhabit its confines; how its magical powers can benefit an individual one day and ruin them the next, etc. blah blah.
To make it easier to find these old gems... here are some tab-delimited text files (2010 and back):

It was last weekend (as in, 10 days ago) and the aftermath wasn't too bad, actually. Very nice stuff.
I agree that everyone's getting older, but that's a good thing because most of them acted like ing morons when they first joined this site. |

The whole internet was like that back then. I wasn't a member of these forums, but I was very active on the Penny Arcade forums from like 03-06, and it was the same thing: Everybody way too happy and excited about everything around them.
So yeah, it's most likely age more than anything. It would be nice to be that happy-go-lucky again, but... you know... bills to pay and . |

There also wasn't a global recession going on back then either. I think once you got past the whole Y2K thing, most people were quite optimistic of the 21st Century as well.
Nowadays, all I see on the news is Occupy This or That, big banks finding other ways to screw people over, and students protesting against higher tuition fees. The times have gotten a bit more desolate...to me anyway. |

We are in California, too. That's why it's one of the few places that still loves trance. So much sunshine! :p |
