I've lived in SF for over 5 years and I've been to a couple undergrounds, but usually veer for club events...
However, the party we went to last night after Ruby...was just wow. Really good tunes and some really fun people!! It was one of the best nights I've had out.
Can someone maybe help point me in the right direction to find out about these events. I get wanting to be discreet, so maybe PM me. |

A lot of the undergrounds I used to follow have moved into club events so i'm not that knowledgeable anymore, but following more DJs on facebook always helps. *snip*
I kinda miss UG's but all the DJs I want to see are playing clubs now so I don't really have much choice. |

| most UGs are thru werd o mouth or text these days, over exposure will get them shut down |

Edited, but considering ppl consistently host public UG events on facebook with thousands of invites I figured the practitioners are already being brazen enough that it shouldn't matter too much. |

Yeah they're taking a huge risk, but those people are strongly moderating their following, often use it to just announce and process details another way after they get the following.
Most real UGs are done through text. They're almost every weekend. |
