In an era of fast pace digital releases and constant flow of disposable music, two established passionate figures in the music industry saw a gap in the market place. L*E*D recordings was set up by Airwave and John 00 Fleming, both legends in their own right. They intend to take things back to basics, hunting down high quality producers and working with them ensuring each and every release is to the highest quality possible, after all this was always the Ethos of running a label, something that got lost in translation over the years. Having over 40 years experience between them in this music industry will certainly shake things up and make waves. Quality over quantity.

Following last yearʼs Hello World, itʼs showtime for another side of the man, returning back to his early roots, long before 1999: psychedelic-tainted music. 2012 will mark the big return of Airwave on all fronts, finally showing all of his sides. Atlas Winds is a Monster, based on the roots and soul of psychedelic progressive and trance, with a subtle taste of progressive house. The Mecca- driven vocal combined with the overwhelming intensity of the relentless rhythmic textures will send you to space. Dramatic pads will make you believe again in a style thatʼs now rising from its ashes. On the Flipside we have another cracker, Chiricahua, named in memory of the Apache tribe. An 80ʼs inspired cinematic
Intro with a strong zen-attitude before the breaks kick in and guide your biorhythm. Add a good fix of acid and synth-leads and arps on top of that, and you get the perfect definition of how Progressive Breaks anno 2012 sounds like. This new EP is a game changer for Airwave, but for a whole scene in demand of new sounds, new territories, looking for a fix with a re- discovered passion for music. This release finally sets the tone for a new emerging label, born in the minds of two icons of the scene, John 00 Fleming, and Airwave. LCD Recordings
