I agree with most of this. But the point people are making is that him as a person is a douchebag, and nothing to do with his talents or what he can accomplish. Look at DJ's like Ferry Corsten, Carl Cox, or John 00 Fleming. All made it HUGE yet still possess a sense of modesty, Deadmau5 does not. Let's face it, Deadmau5 may like to stir up controversy, but comes across as one of the biggest haters of all. If he dropped the attitude (which is definitley impossible now, pending a life threatening disease or injury), he wouldn't have half as many haters. Hate on the haters all you want, but he brought it on himself.

I have no wishes to be famous at all.....but he still acts like a douche. He was a douche before he was anything close to famous and now he is a famous douche. Sometimes s are just s...it doesn't matter what happens in their lives.

I don't see anything wrong with what the guy said.
The longer you are outside of reality, the harder it is to remember what it was like. He lives on another planet, one that none of us have experienced.
If he continues to talk like this at the age of 40, and has been in the biz for 20+ years, sure say something. But he barely has time to breath, let alone reflect on what is going on.
The drugs probably don't help either.
