| Why does my mixes sound muddy after rendering??? I'm using FL Studio 10.0.8 Producer Edition and using the highest rendering settings (i.e 32Bit Float/450KBPS/512 Point Sinc/ and with all the left-bottom LEDs on, u know what I mean). It sounds well and good inside FL Studio but on rendering it just sounds ! Pllllzzzzzzzz help ASAP!!! I need to master my track for a entry submission!! :conf: :( |

Let's see, first of all i don't know why but what you say looks odd to me.
You'd better export a 16 bit wav 44,100 hz, you can work with higher frequencies if you wish but export it at this frequency. If you want the track to be mastered dithering shouldn't be enabled. |

| Well ok will try that for sure, thanx! Btw, I'm using 48000Hz sample rate... The higher the better right?... And one more thing u should know, I just found that I've given a wrong topic name... yeah my bad... Looks like it's not rendering problem, coz the demo projects sounds perfect even on 128KBPS mp3..... so what am i doin wrong here??? |

| i think there is no differente between 44k and 48k when exporting, there was a reason behind but i've forgotten it to be honest. I've had some issues when exporting big projects on crap laptop, your settings might be to high for your processor. |

<<<<<< *sigh*
450kbps on 32bit float doesn't make any sense since any lossles audio format uses more than 450kbps as far as I know.. 48000hz as a sampling rate is a regular audio export format for video material. Not recommended for typical audio appliances as this.
I don't know what export settings fruity has but you're obviously using the wrong ones. Go and read the manual and it will tell you why. |

I have Intel Core i3-2100 3.10GHz CPU with 8GB RAM! That is okay for bedroom production imo... Btw, I don't have a soundcard. Does that make any difference?...:conf: |
