quick question.
i am chillin with some colleagues tonight in downtown LA...which bars play housey or dance-y type stuff?...ie edison, broadway, etc..
I just dont want to get stuck at a bar that plays hip hop crap....and this way, i can steeer them in the right direction. |

i can tell you where NOT to go.. i mean they'll throw in an Afrojack track or whatever is dance music on mainstream radio but nothing consistently EDM...

| elevate is cool but mostly hip hop/r&b w some house sprinkled in but you have to wear dress shoes and collared shirt. |

hrmmmmmm...
i think its edison...
i would do exchange...but that is straight up trance and a cover....these are my buds from usc's mba program...so i think the straight up trance may be a little too much. lol |

Are you suggesting that an mba student is too classy for trance music?

| exchange had tritonal + super8 & tab playing...some top djs even if you arent into trance. they still play tunes |

lol, classy, no...but imagine...taking a non edm person there...they will be like "are we at a rave?". lol
but yeah the mba folks...hrmmmm....to give you a sense of the mba folks..i am one of two people in my class that has been to burningman and alot of them have never even heard of of it.
so i was suggesting that straight up trance may be a little out there for a non edm person.
ended up at the edison. i love the look of it and feel of the place. but they need to have techno night. |

when INCOGNITO started 5 years ago, that was the first venue we really went after.
at that time though, they werent taking any promoters. same as J Lounge.
thus, we ended up at Boardners hehe |
