Love that track. This has got to be the only board I frequent in which people would actually know the lyrics. No one else would know what the Hell I was on ab00t.

Yeah when I first heard this I was loving it. Quite typical for this sound was that I became tired of it very fast. Now I wouldn't even give it a third listen.

And same here J, I'm almost annoyed by the fact that I don't know the rest of the story. It's kind of a mystery with that track.

I can understand the "gimmicky" comment, because the lyrics in You Are Sleeping don't really fit the mood of the track, but they are still some of the most interesting you'll hear in a popular club record. I love the suggestiveness of narrating it in second person and present tense, adds much more ambiguity as to who is telling the story and who they're referring to. There are little details - I always wondered what he means exactly when he says "You tell them who you are". I wish I knew the full story behind the lyrics, because nobody has a clear answer as to where they came from or who wrote them.

Oh (even with my gimmicky comment) I love them and, as said before, I love the song. I've always been fascinated by them as well. Has PQM ever commented about them?

Who was it here who had them engraved on a flask? I always thought that was slightly cool lol

I have them engraved on my penis.

Heh what a coincidence - I've recently been fascinated with Atmospheric Energy's 'Inspired' podcast and this track came on during episode no.9
