Story time:

Like this, only he was wearing Lederhosen.
So this morning there was quite a bit of snow on my car. I clean the windshield and start driving to work. On one of the bigger roads the police is standing, pulling cars out, and of course I'm one of them.
Thankfully the internet taught me what to do in such a situation. I give the officer my best coolface, ask "Problem, officer?" (in German: "Alles klar, Herr Kommissar?") and indeed he doesn't ask for license and registra-.
Instead he says "Sir, do you know that you're obliged to clean your car completely from the snow before driving?". I had heard and knew other people who got pulled over for that, so I answer "No, omg is that so?".

And it could have ended here. However the guy starts giving me a five minute lecture on how terrible my wrongdoing was, how snow being blown from my roof could endanger me and others and how snowy car roofs caused the current Euro crisis. I replied something like "I see. So I guess I and all the other drivers have to thank you for this highly important contribution to traffic safety."
Well, his sarcasm detector was on and blew a fuse. He starts yelling at me about how I should spare him the witty comments and how disrespectful that is and how I have no right to talk to him like that and how he didn't get laid the night before. I couldn't help but grin even more, which made him even madder, to the point where he said that laughing at him was insulting a police officer and he can report me for that and I'll be fined. I ask if he really wants to report me for being sarcastic and grinning. Also putting on my coolface again, of course.
He says I should stop talking, clean my car from the snow and get the out of here.

:stongue: :stongue: What a self-important dick.

inb4coolstorybro. This is a Lira-style cool story thread after all.

I liked this story, because I was sure you were going to get into real trouble by acting like an idiot, but then he let you go *thumbs up gif*

Please tell me you said "Alles klar, Herr Kommissar?" like that guy from Mo-Do! Oh, and you're lucky you live in Germany, most cops here would have held you unnecessarily for at least an hour, checking documents and the like :p

This being said, the police never stopped me. Ever.

LOL, Love those Germans.

we have the same snow laws in the USA too. or at least, in only some areas/towns/etc.... If i'm going on to base, the gate guards give us grief if we're not completely clear of snow.

luckily, i have a garage:o

snow on the roof can be dangerous though, especially after it hardens. i almost died one time when a massive chunk of ice/snow/hellspawn dislodged itself from an 18 wheeler on front of me on the highway. fortunately there was no car next to me when I swerved over. I watched that hit the ground at infinite miles per hour and merely break in 2. Would've exploded my car

Not really. I've had quite a few alts I made for the lulz, such as Delay Llama and Vivid Neo, but Meat187 isn't on the list.

Edit: Besides, he's in Europe and I'm in South America. He speaks French, I don't. He speaks better German than I. And so on...

How do you explain the para para then?

I don't listen to para para. He does, and you can check it out for yourself. I do think, however, that it is fun and I love to tease him for that :p

Actually, we just tend to do it quite a lot. Teasing, that is.

Mister Charlie?

Ah don't even bother, I'm drunk and going to bed. Trying to be witty but I'm in no such mood.
