| This synth sounds pretty good, i would definitely have bought one if the waveforms werent sample based. |

I stayed away from mentioning the sound for the reasons you already gave - it's a soft synth, nothing to go crazy over, but also doesn't sound bad (but consider that I've only played it in GC). Spec-wise, its synth architecture is pretty basic - most $100+ soft synths will equal or exceed it. |
Again I can't argue with that, but I happily paid £139 (or whatever it was) for Sylenth so paying double that for something broadly similar in sonic capability that has a nice hardware control surface sits ok with me.
It's little more than a toy to mess about with when I've had enough time at the DAW, that just happens to be capable of coming up with something tasty once in a while.
I would do it with a Nord Lead or something, but it's not quite so easy to sit on the sofa with that and mess about. |

iPad and a bunch of $5 synths. Yeah, I know, no real knobs and sliders, but still very tactile and responsive.
Animoog, Alchemy Mobile, iMaschine, etc. are a lot of fun.
That said and, despite my bashing of Gaia, I can see the attraction in having a little portable synth to play around with. |

Yes, Berkshire
Which is comprised of 25,000 miles of really tiny roads with 5 millions people driving Range Rovers and Cayennes on them. |
What would one consider an estate. Like in that move where batman's butler plays a real person and fights the youth of the estates. Is that real ? Are there no go zones in london ? Or does the media play it up. Like if the crips and some london gang where to throw down, would it be close or would the brits have to break for tea. IN that movie, they seem like legitimate street gang material. |

I despise touchscreens for anything other than the odd poke of a play button etc. It's weird, I want to like them but I just can't. I grew up watching Star Trek next generation (well, i'd already grown up but you know) thinking that their touchscreens were so cool. Sadly I'm too oldskool for all that. |

I like the way you think. Since the excretory function is in itself an act of creation, it's a perfect time to compose. Besides, that way if someone tells you the song is , you can honestly say "Well what the frig did you expect?" ;) |

| at least you'll have hardware sound and when it reaches the a/d stage, you'll be the only one who can tell the difference |
