They (Pioneer) probably had her behind their equipment so all the New Kid's On the Block will go out and get themselves a set up as oposed to a Laptop and some sort of software package.
Remember now - Pioneer and other leading DJ EQ Manaufacturer's are now able to have equipment tell you the BPM so it takes the guess work out Beatmatching... HMM I wonder who was recently quoted saying something similar. Come on kids I know you know who that Star Studded DJ is (drum roll please) and to be safe he just sold out with that comment and I in no way support him for saying that.
It's what a DJ is able to create from his/her crate that allows them to gain respect and credibility in their creative art form.

I see a USB plugged in there.. but nothing in the video's looked like she was actually "mixing". Guarantee that if something was being played off that USB, it was a pre-recorded mix.
If big name existing "DJs" do it, you're damn right that useless twat of a human being is doing it. |

The Drunk Text video - she looks good but geez she is awkward. Her whole body is just awkward. I feel bad for her almost. Cringe worthy awkwardness.
The DJing, same thing. Man, she is awkward. I don't know how to DJ and I think it's pretty difficult, she has some sort of balls/entitlement to even think that she can do it. And SOOOOO awkward. |

| This isn't necessarily a point against her but when did pyrotechnics become such an essential part of DJ shows?! It really is just more about spectacle now than the music. I guess they're putting more emphasis on the visuals to draw part of your attention away from how awful the music is if you really pay attention. |
