Considering this was written on campus, I would love nothing more than to ask whoever wrote it why the "Black Power" part of it was so necessary. I'm all for empowerment, but it strikes me as odd they would use this specific choice of words.
I'm taking a course in African American Literature, so I'll bring it up later today, too. |

| Why? It's the title of their presentation, likely meant to illustrate what it's about. They weren't saying it as if they were Black Panthers. |

And "White Power, the politics of white struggle" would make no sense. It would be as unjustified as heterosexuals claiming they're being persecuted because homosexuals want to receive equal treatment. |
