Very good and in depth guide here. It's funny, I remember reading this when I first started producing, it felt like I was reading Latin, made very little sense.
However having a flick through it now, it surprised me how much I've managed to learn since then.
I'd encourage anyone who didn't study music as a kid to read and apply some of the knowledge. A basic understanding of music theory, chords and scales will really go a long way. |
