I think you've got a mislabelled track there mate...that should be:
Mr. Joshua presents Espiritu - In Praise of the Sun (? Mix)
Any mix of this track could be called the Chicane mix because Nick Bracegirdle (aka Chicane) helped to produce it!
Check Chicane.cc for more info to see if you can properly ID it (if you care to that is)
The sound of the cut depends a lot on what mix it is, most of them are very chilled though...if you liked the previous Chicane stuff it should be to your liking...though it's nothing special either :shrug: |

| I should also add that that track isn't new, I think I first got it about a year ago...something like that...so who knows if that's going to reflect Nick's current material... |

Hm.That's weird.I heard about that Mr.Joshua-track before,but since it said,"In Paradise Of The Sun" on Juno,and since it featured Vanessa St.James,I thought it was new.:conf:I guess it's just a typo,and since it appeared in the new releases-section,this one probably has got a repress(or maybe it has been re-recorded with another vocalist?).Thanks for the info,tho!;)I'll check the website you mentioned.
*edit:Hm,it doesn't say anything about this track on his site....Weird. |

Hmm, this does beg looking into then; if Juno is listing it that way perhaps this is a re-release with different vocals...this is the first I've heard of it though...
Very interesting, I'm always on the look-out for new Chicane stuff, thanks for giving us the heads up on this... :D |

| I don't know though...the "Sono's Frequent Traveller Mix" is definitely a version of "In Praise of the Sun" as I've had that one nearly as long as I had the original mix...unless they had Sono do an additional mix for this new version as well... |

The track name is Mr Joshua pres. Espiritu - In Praise Of The Sun, released in 2001. Written by Higgins/Coler/Quiñones/Bracegirdle (Nick Bracegirdle being Chicane). Various mixes exist, as shown on the image below of the promo CD. Not sure what Juno have listed... a repress I'd imagine. :conf:
