This controversy came out of nowhere. One day half my FB was posting about Kony.
Figuring out what is going on is time consuming - the initial video alone is a half hour! I need a Kony Coles notes! |

For this to work really well though, you have to monitor your Twitter feed until George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey and Mark Zuckerberg happen to use #Kony2012 and get it retweeted 1 million times each. Then just wait for the AP update that says simply "We got 'im!" to roll in on your iPhone.
Oh, and also: childbirth, blonde boy is cute, sloganeering, Shephard Fairey consents, and all African people can be broken down into good ("Jacob") and bad ("Kony"). Unfortunately, even the Jacobs of Africa can't help themselves so it takes white American college kids to do it for them on social networking sites.
