Hey
Are any TA's from Ottawa or Montreal planning to go to see this? I have never seen "the Misstress" before.....I have heard good things about her, but do you folks think it is worth going? |

Hey Greg....I loved John "OO" last weekend....after you left, he dropped some sick-ass tracks...I had NEVER heard them before....so I loved hearing new stuff....mostly progressive stuff, but some tracks had trancey elements in them also...I stayed until a bit after 5 or so...had to go home to study ....yeah...I know.....sucks to have an exam during party season
It was pretty sweet though cuz the later it got into John "OO"'s set, the more guys that LEFT the club...the guy-girl ratio was pretty sweet near the end of the night.....not the sausage-fest I expected :)
Were you in Montreal Friday night for AVB? I went there and i think I DIED 10 times that night....Armin destroyed the place and my feet and hips still hurt like a sonofabitch.....never had a better night partying ever....I looked for ya, but didnt see you. Maybe I'll see you next time.
I met ACA2000 in Montreal and he said that he was also at Surface for John "OO"....nice guy...you should meet him sometime.

I didn't go to see Armin, but by the sounds of it I wish I had.
I'm downloading a Mistress Barbara set to see if I like her tunes, then I'll decide if I'll go to the Surface on Saturday night. |

| Meat. I heard he played a good amount of goa. Did you hear any of this? Never heard goa/psy trance in a club before. Er.. wait I did see infected mushroom but that was at sona so all i really heard was bang bang distorted bang...Anyway, i might show up for mistress, It's looking like it is gonna be a huge night judging from the techno xvi interest. |

You know what DiscoJoe....I stayed until about 45 minutes before JOOF was supposed to finish....so i never hear the ENTIRE set.....but from what i remember, he didn't play goa/psy trance...the more trancey stuff he played was NOT goa....now I dont listen to that stuff too much, but I dont know who was saying this. Either the people there DONT know what goa/psy trance is OR I dont know what I was listening to.....I think it is prolly the first choice :)
anyways....I am thinking about checking our Misstress B if i am in town |
