Trance is very much alive but I would really appreciate it if some different tunes were played at these big parties.
If you can play 'Air for Life' and 'Airwave' then what about any other tunes from the past 10+ years - there are plenty that don't sound dated and would work well. |

Exactly. So many producers and such a huge library and this is what we get. Come on. Arty's stuff tends to lean to the housier side anyway. I mean I'm open minded but what makes Trance, Trance is that "sound" we all attribute to it. Not house or god forbid those diarrhea dubs that get dropped from time to time.
Seph the argument that A State of Trance doesn't have to be ALL trance is valid, but when I go to hear someone that is Trance that is what I expect to hear. Where do you go and ask for a burger and get a veggie burger and be totally fine with that? |
