with good drugs involved :)

Some time ago, it was all about the afterparty. Being exhausted and totally ed up, keep eating md's and spinning. I recall the wierd fests. Everybody seemed to hook up with someone. Most of the time it was awesome!!!! During those nite's, after md wouldn't work anymore, K was the right thing to do. Amazing experience, but history for me.

Quote: i remember talking smoothly to my friends after a long ass nite at stereo and getting in a car. Everyone could hear each other breathing and it was dead silence except for tinnitus ringing. I would call that feeling "after stereo closet talk".

I felt like a drum circle was going to burst open at any moment. Then, in my post-Stereo wisdom, I thought "maybe a bump of K will make it this more tolerable". It didn't. It totally didn't. At all.
Enjoy
i bought a bicycle after stereo once

lol k always makes comedowns more tolerable, and more stupid.... What sucks is that comedowns got so bad now, compared to the lack of them I used to have back 5 years ago. Partly why I don't even like doing those things anymore, just not worth it.

comedowns (as in emotional comedowns not regular drugs wearing off) are IMO purely mental creations

i think i had 1 in my life and it was during a time when i was rly depressed so that probably provoked it. but everything is subjective so...

anyway, re: K, very fun, but just down right silly. makes me and anyone im with a spaced out retrard.

we get there, and it's such a narrow two story loft. like 8 ft wide max! it was crammed, ppl were like zombies ... smoking non stop, absolutely no ventilation and it was damn hot. we figured we'd wait it out and hope beyer would make his appearance sooner than later. well that definitely didn't happen ... we waited for 1hr and he never showed up so they started playing Bjork instead ... we left shortly after lol

Somehow we managed to stay past 2 songs. That was NOT Adam Beyer.. haha. So random. The only good thing that came out of that party was Ducklet! I miss that little guy.

I love partying through the next day at friends' places or a hotel. I often have more fun then that at the club. Getting a group of people who know how to do crazy well together in a room with good tunes is one of my favorite things to do.

The after party culture in Montreal is awesome, not that Toronto is bad, but I prefer the after party scene in Montreal.

Oftentimes the after party is the best thing about going out, you relive the main event, shoot the , drink, and text your other friends and see what they are up to.

The best is when after parties combine meaning you text your friends to see what they are doing, they are afterpartying too, and you decide to merge the parties. Goodtimes.

Hardtimes is after partying before you have a plane or train to catch. Ouch when you have to leave.

Haha I love all day being like "We're totally going out tonight! We're so hardcore!" and you really believe it and when the time comes you're like "No F'in way I'm going anywhere".

Yeah, at 4pm you are like, "tonight's going to be so awesome I can't wait"

7pm is "we're still going, right?"

10pm is "there's no way I'm moving off this couch."

I used to be able to go out back to back, but I'm too old for that.

I did it a couple times and learned that the anticipation was greater than actually going through with it. I have friends who can sleep during the day and then go back out but I'm usually having so much fun during the day that I'd rather burn my fuel then than save it for another night in a club.
