Bitburger is a pretty much an average German pils, there are plenty of others that are close enough. If this 'pourhouse' has a large selection of beers they should have something similar, but without knowing what they carry it's hard to recommend anything. Have they got a website? |
The distributor stopped shipping kegs, and that's why they have stopped carrying it. I can still find bottles and cans, but I want draught. I think you should write them a letter on my behalf.
The pourhouse carries 109 different beers all on tap, so I'm sure if you just listed a few off they'd have at least one.
Currently I'm enjoying the Double-Chocolate Cranberry Stout from Muskoka Brewery in Ontario. It's the first stout I've ever enjoyed, but it's not quite staple material.
By staple I mean a beer that I can have as a go-to when I've had 2 or 3 super-pints and my taste buds don't work right anymore. |

| For what it's worth, we're living in the internet age and this is this forum exists on the internet. Anything that's been asked in here could have been resolved by googling. I could ask you the difference between a porter and a stout, for instance, but I could find that out on my own just as easily. |

For what it's worth, we're living in the internet age and this is this forum exists on the internet. Anyone that wants to see photography could find some by googling. I could look at your blurry picture of a bird, for instance, but I could find a better one on Flickr just as easily.
Flickr photographers wouldn't have come across as enormous wankers with massively overinflated views of their photography ability either. |
