One more thing, if say mircosoft had a system failure, they would need to ring up all staff etc, and deal with it within the company, u dont see them put a huge post up on cisco's or IBM's website saying microsoft is having problems blah blah blah

So all im saying is, the hub is a stand alone thing, so the people who run the thing shoudl have it setup so any problems can be solved quickly and easily, and members can be informed as quickly and easily as possible.

I would suggest you either setup an irc channel, or a newsletter, so members can be easily informed of any changes/problems

Sounds sensible to me

great news!

but one thing is...a lot of people is complaining about the thread on the hub
i agree..sometimes it does get annoying
especially when they post threads about it being down when there's already 4 on the same page!!! :whip:
but you gotta realise, that if AG was still up
and suddenly it went down for a few days
you would also see quite a few threads about it

this is THE approach to take.
setting up an irc channel would be the easiest.

or have a massmailer send out a newsletter everytime there's a downtime and/or change.

not to advertise on TA itself -- hell use a secondary HUB like some were using (you know who you are!:p) until things get resolved in the first one.
