And what bits of it do you do in illustrator Lynx ???
I thought the program was crap when i first used it. (Same with Freehand (which i use often now) but thats not the point) ? |

illustrator? tis an awesome program. vector-based wonderfulness-ness-ness. :D yep. i love it. the left side was done in illustrator. the blue lines. i've also created some mad traces with illustrator as well. i'll post a pic of somethin'.

it's a trace done in illustrator 9. i guess i could post the original beside the trace.
illustrator 9 has MUCH more options than 7. tis also quite user-friendly as opposed to anything 6 or under. 7 is like the breaking point for illustrator. awesome program. lots of potential. :) also, being a vector based program, your images always look insanely sharp and clear without the file size being huge.
look above for original beside trace. :D the original was done by a friend. awesome artist he is. he's part of my design company that we put together.
if you're wondering how my friend did the original. he did sketch the piece out and scaned the outline in. then he coloured the ENTIRE thing in photoshop. he's ing awesome. :D |
