I like the fact that it's breaking away from a lot of the super clean sterile sounding progressive tracks of today, opting for a loose dirty driven style with attitude, without being too abrasive or obnoxious. There's enough hooks and melodic content here to catch and is bound to inject some energy into club DJ sets. I dunno how I can put it exactly, but I do have a thing for nice bold music that's well made (not saying mine is..lol), but don't get me wrong as I certainly appreciate subtlety also. Here I was just trying to striking a balance and I've been pretty happy with the result. It was never aimed at being ground breaking, forward thinking or anything, I'm definitely not at that level, but I am definitely improving all the time and do have aspirations..lol. In future I'd really like to try and make some deeper, intelligent and more subtle progressive styled music but I've got a few projects happening with some sample libraries and patch banks etc. that I'd like to focus on. lol Jay... I'd be surprised if you liked this man.. and I'm not really in it for the money :) Lews Really enjoyed it, man. Very nice. My one complaint would be that I wished it was a bit quicker, but I suppose I can just pitch it up :p Teezdalien Thanks Lews, I can understand why you would like this to be faster, it's sure got faster trance flavors in there, but I kept the bpm down as I still think it works well, is a little different and works better for myself when I mix it with other tracks I'm currently playing,. I may even see if one of my friends will do a remix that's at more of a standard trance tempo, have to wait and see.
