Still feels really undeveloped. The melody is pretty threadbare and the percussion needs some more energy to drive the track. From what I'm able to gather, it seems to be coming from/going to a dark place. I'd recommend retitling it "Captain Howdy", just because I can almost feel the implicit curiosity of Reagan MacNeil toying with an Ouija board right before getting sucked into the abyss.
EDIT: Just noticed the hypnotic remark - one thing you may try to do is to establish some more contrapuntal offsets and a little syncopation in the rhythm. Your tracks are normally pretty good at that so, this being a WIP, I don't see it being a future problem. It's just lacking a bit, right now.

Considering the idea behind this track I won't say anything about melody or structure.
From the technical point of view I would say that it's a bit too loud in mid frequency range. Too much reverb, it occupies whole spectrum.

Cheers fellas.
It's techno and as such alreay way too melodic for the purists, so I don't want to develop that side much, aside from improving sounds and maybe the odd note of variation here n there.
In fact I might remove that lead melody in the last drop depending what people say. It's rare to find any melody in the modern techno I am drawn to, as the emphasis is on 'feel' as opposed to easily discernable melodic strutures.
Ed - beat wise I don't think I want to add anything more as to my ears it's full already and I don't want it any more cluttered. There is a lot of quiet subbtle stuff going on, and the beats are probably my most complex yet. But I will re - check the drive you mentioned as it's easy for me to overlook such things.
I used a lot of verb in the basic bass and perc underbelly, and this is something I've been doing deliberately as a lot of the best Techno guys are so doing, which seems to be a bit of a sonic rule breaker. The verb is there in abundance as a sort of underbelly, where the mind is drawn into to a sort of underground panic room full of strange echos and luch reverbs, but I will listen on a range of systems to see where I might have fukked it.
I appreciate all thoughts and usualy I go with what people tell me, but today I might just stick to me guns!
No mastering yet, as I don;t have a clue what I'm doing!

That.
I think that you are still missing some of the sound heaviness which is usually associated with Techno/Industrial genre. This low section of your track freq is under-compensated and sounded some how flat to me - so your main focus should be on this aspect of your production my friend.
Idea and melodic part is develop enough for this type of sound you are going for.
