Sounds like exactly what I need this morning.

Hey man, nice work, lots of chilled out tracks, and some with a little bit more energy sprinkled in there. It was lovely. I do have one criticism however, I didn't like the opener at all. It was very irritating to my ears, it was like someone was scratching or sawing very loudly, and the sound was constantly coming in and out so it made it very difficult to enjoy. I think a droney or more ambient track would have worked better. But as soon as that track was over, the wonderful chill/downtempo tracks started and it was great the rest of the way through. Some real gems in here. Nice work yet again, I listened the whole way through. Til next time :)

But... but... that's Andy Stott! Trendiest of techno pseudo-experimentalists! When I bought that EP in Rough Trade, the hipster shop attendent nodded approvingly at his colleague and commended me on a good purchase. You're not allowed to dislike Andy Stott!

But yeah, I can understand that the track is not for everyone. I like it, though, and I think Stott's muffled, heavy "subterranean" sound is a fitting intro for a mix themed around hearing loss. Glad you enjoyed the rest of the mix, anyway.

I dont have many words to describe this set. This set is just amazing and stays beautiful, chilled out through out. I love the ambient breaks that kick in. Beautiful flow throughout.
I must admit this is a great way to start off the day. Great job done!!!

Talk about taking me back in a major, major way. Throw the Gray Area mix of "Emerald" in there and you pretty much scream to RJT's soul 8 years ago.

This was very nice, Jack. It's a shame it tends to only be the jocks with significant historical perspective who put as much effort into the set as a whole as you always do.

Kids from any genre could learn a lot about how to properly program a set by listening to your back catalog.

I'll get around to it one of these days

I didn't actually put a whole lot of effort into this one, by my standards. It took about a week to put together in a way I was happy with. I went for quite a mix-tape feel, just putting together tracks I really liked. I'm trying to get more spontaneous with these things, actually. I respect DJs who can program a set properly without having to think about it endlessly.

Thanks for listening, anyway.

Well I think it's safe to say your previous efforts at programming have carried over into more "on the fly" programming.

And I'll always listen. I may not enjoy all of them, but I do most, and I certainly look forward to them. :)

As in you want me to redo them without all the key clashes and shoddy mixing?
