My mate Trevor turned me on to Mr. Hill, and I'm becoming increasingly enamoured of his output. Total double-threat, consistently solid both on the decks and in the studio - how many Techno DJs out there do you know who scratch with 45s and drop cuts like "Surfin' Bird" into their sets?
:crazy::

Another solid 12" from Don't - between this label and his Fat Hop series, Jerome's on a real tear.

both of those tracks you posted sounded like they are geared towards 15 year olds. I'm not saying that's bad, but if I was a party and the dj played that I'd be heading for the coat check.

Surfin' Bird through a club rig is inhumane

Why would you think they're geared toward 15 year olds? The first track runs on a hilarious diatribe about irrationality that I'm guessing would be well over the head of the average teenager, and the second one quite lovingly nicks a great sample from a 25 year old comedy sci-fi movie. They're silly, irreverent, well crafted, and make booties bounce.
Now, were you to say that these tracks sound like they're geared toward the 15 year old in you (and even that doesn't sound quite right ;)), I'd be more inclined to agree, but from what you've written it just sounds like you don't like to have FUN.
so there :p

For last song of the early morning at the closing party at my friends' nightclub in Manila, I dropped the Sex Pistols' "Friggin' In The Riggin'". The only person who got it was one of the owners, who was pogoing around in the middle of the dancefloor in his pyjamas.
I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Music that is fun you say? Bah! What an insult to my intelligence.
PivotTechno
They sure as hell don't call it a thinkfloor!

How am I supposed to pick up girls if they're all having fun. Have you thought of that?
I can't drink my exorbitantly expensive champagne in peace if everyone's dancing around like a moron. Oh, and could you turn the music down next time? I can't hear anything when I'm calling my friends to tell them were I am and boast about how awesome it is. I'm a busy man you know!
