Tracklsit:

01. Farbo - Whisper (Original Mix)
02. Suntree - Unseen (Ritmo Remix)
03. Cosmithex - Alchemy (Original Mix)
04. 00.db - Oxygene (Protoculture Remix)
05. Krama - Basilisk (Original Mix)
06. Vibrasphere - Landmark (Original Mix)
07. Sunseek - Working Like A Dog (Original Mix)
08. Flow Job - Everland Airport (Original Mix)
09. Vibrasphere - Seven Days to Daylight
10. Jaded Little Pill - Accelerator (Original Mix)

The mix builds up till the 5th Track and then underground beats pump up the tempo. Fifth Track is such an uplifting tune minus all the cheese.
and then the 10th Track is probably the best remix done by Hybrid. If you cant figure out they remixed Alanis Morissette's track "So Pure" by the alias Jaded Little Pill. This track finishes off the mix beautifully.

Let me know what you think of it :) .

Nice mix, some big favourites of mine in there and the mixing was pretty good as well, you managed to do some fairly long blends which I often find difficult with the psy basslines.

The Hybrid track was probably the best one, a very good track to finish on. However, you must have mixed this straight from their Remix & Additional Production compilation, because I can hear their remix of Café Del Mar coming in at the end, and then the music suddenly stops. It's a very strange and jarring ending to the set, which undermines the beauty of the track a little bit. I think you should have faded out the track rather than just letting it stop suddenly.

Also, while it flowed pretty well, I found the structure a little bit strange. It gets really anthemic and big around tracks 3-5, and then after that goes into more grooving prog-psy tracks. It feels like a slightly strange place to put the biggest moments in the set. It might have been better to open with the Hybrid track (so you can mix out of it before Café Del Mar), build up through the Flowjob and Vibrasphere tracks and then have the big, anthemic stuff near the end.

But overall, a nice, very listenable set.

First of all thanks a lot such a nice and detailed review. Really Appreciated.

I generally do what you said, but this time I let the set build up till the half-way and reach its peak (5th Track) and then again slowly remove the anthemic tracks and replace by non-anthemic (but higher energy) groovy tracks (like a trance tune itself; build up, climax, outro). It was just an experiment. Some peple may like it this way.
As for the last track, yes its from a compilation and I should have faded it out with some fx (I was so into the track while mixing, I forgot the ending part totally :tongue2 ).

I will definitely take care of what you have mentioned here in my forth coming mixes.
Thanks again :)

It's not a bad thing, just a little unusual. I didn't know if it was deliberate - some less experienced DJs are so pleased to put tracks together they don't really think about the bigger picture. If it was a deliberate decision, that's fine. Credit for trying something a little unusual.

Totally agree with you there. When one is making a set, he/she should give importance to flow and over all feel of the set and not just to fact how many big tunes you mixed together (This might be different when one DJ's at Clubs and fests as they have to get the crowd moving, but still I would say flow counts.)

I dont know, may be its just me, but the problem with most of the sets I heard, is that they just keep on building and leave me wanting more (with same flow and energy).

The very idea of building up the half-way and then let the biggest tunes kick in and then slowly bringing the energy down towards the end might sound a little unusual.
But I think this would be a far-more satisfying experience for the listener.
