Sup lads, need some feedback on this, I'm not completely done yet, and I'd really appreciate some help making this song insane.

is the breakdown too long? and too boring? I think so... I'll shorten it.

needs a lot of eq work I think - it's a wall of sound in the miodrange, so you lose clarity in your bass and high end - I wouldn't go for loudness, but allow the elements in the mix to actually come through instead of pushing everything into almost distortion.

My issue with tracks like these is their relevance. This song sounds like it is from 2003. That isn't meant as an insult, I don't have a problem with old styles or music but what is your plan for the track?

It seems like tons of people in the producer section make this style of trance but haven't seemed to realize that no DJ plays this style anymore except a couple and no major labels really release it anymore (Armada has a few sublabels which do, but that's about it). In fact, they haven't played this style in 4-5 years.

Two of the main problems (from a practical standpoint, if you enjoy making music for the fun of it, than it doesn't matter) with most tracks in the promotion section is that they 1. Sound very dated and 2. Don't sound big and powerful enough. Those are the two things this track needs most. Updated drums, baselines, style and a much bigger more powerful presence.

This is just some advice from someone who was making this style not too long ago and realised one day that I needed to update my sound :)

yeah. I think the kick is too loud. I like the ideas you have but the track is way too long for me. 9 mins?

I don't like the kick in the intro. It kinda starts sounding okay after 0:30 but that's probably because of other instruments in the mix. The bassline is energetic and I like it. The clap sound could use a little tweaking, it's lost and quiet. Pad sound seems a little too loud, I'd work on balancing whole mix and throw some more eq on channels so every instrument has it's own space. Breakdown is indeed a little too long, I'd shorten it and throw some fx's around.
