DJ Receives Death Threat For Playing Dubstep

It seems as if djing in the US is becoming a dangerous past time! LA Times has reported a U.S. female DJ Fei-Fei Wang has been inundated with death threats after playing dubstep at an Armin Van Buuren trance party at Beyond Wonderland!
This globally performed and internet broadcast party has spurred on a spate of personal attacks on Ms. Wang, some going as far as openly saying “Someone take a shotgun to Fei-Fei.”
Wang who has been djing for over 10 year on the US scene and has a masters in film production from USC expressed her shock from the reaction to the LA Times – “I didn’t think I was gonna be receiving death threats on my Facebook. That’s harsh.”
I guess this says, don’t mess with the trance purists! your thoughts?

Not well deserved. AvB apparently was ok with her dj'ing this thing as he knew her style etc.
As for the trance purists wishing death on someone who plays music they don't like. LOL. |

I am of the belief that says: Even though you don't like the majority of a certain genre that does not mean you cannot find a certain part of it that you can learn to enjoy. (Except gabber/hardcore, just kidding) :p |

when this happened it really pissed me off..
I think I started noticing it when a certain dj/producer posted they were "pro trance" |
