Anyone else think it's a good time for another TA genre challenge?

The last one we had was quite the success, with one of the highest rates of entries yet. But that was a while ago (last summer IIRC), so it's high time we did this again. It's one of my favorite things about TA - forcing me (and others) to play outside of their comfort zone and learn about new genres... after our last challenge I now actually listen to a bit of psytrance, and I met a cool facebook friend from that mix.
Anybody else interested? |

I'd maybe be interested in giving something like this a run.
I almost feel like I shouldn't choose the genre though, so I'm not sure if that's how this works or not.
I think I'd still probably default to something I feel like I'd be more comfortable with. =/ |

Yeah, you don't get to choose the genre :p
Everyone that wants to enter suggests a genre, then those suggestions are randomly allocated across all entrants (and I believe you can't be assigned your own suggestion either, though I could be wrong?)
I've asked Meat if he wants to run another one of these - If he doesn't, I'll sort it out myself, unless someone else wants to do it. |
