****Vessel announce exclusive San Francisco residency with Michael Woods****
For those who know electronic music, the name Michael Woods will be a name you’ve heard a lot about over the past 18 months. One of the true rising stars in house music, with dancefloor smash after dancefloor smash coming from his London studio, a UK number 1 with Example, beatport domination and huge tracks released on the hottest labels in the game, including Toolroom Records, mau5trap, Calvin Harris’s Fly Eye, Rising Music and Ultra to name a few. Along with a residency at London’s iconic Ministry of Sound and now Vessel.
We’re incredibly proud to welcome him back to a club where he made his San Francisco debut and now one he’ll call home, where he’ll play exclusively for us and you over Funktion One’s flagship sound system on the West Coast.
When asked, why Vessel? Michael had the following to say. - “I’m really looking forward to start my residency with Vessel in one of my favourite cities in the world - San Francisco... You feel part of the club from DJ booth with the booming soundsystem and intimate surroundings... This is going to be a rocking year with the Vessel crew...”
2012 is set to be his biggest year yet. With a slick new track – Airbourne to watch out for on his own Diffused imprint, more forthcoming releases on Ministry of Sound and collaborations with Little Boots and UK hip hop star Skepta in place. As well as another storming season in Ibiza lined up and an already packed run of festival shows booked in across the globe. Michael Woods will be a name there’s no getting away from.
