Thoughts?

Also, would anyone be so kind to let me now where I can find some old Oliver Prime, Oliver Lieb, Umek, or John OO Fleming sets?

New music is not "crap." You are just getting too old and stuck in your ways to like new things.

No, he's right. It is crap. I just had a listen of Sasha's new EP. It sounds like the 2 dollar vinyl bargain bin crap from 10 years ago when the really lousy house tracks werent selling. I know that sound because I have a bunch of those tracks from when I was starting out on turntables. Mind you, I almost never have anything negative to say of Sasha because almost everything he touches turns to gold.

To the OP; old school stuff is all I listen to. I just got my hands on all the essential mixes from 1994 - 2001. Theres so much good stuff I've never heard before, I think 1997-98 were some pretty amazing years.

Oh, off.

I love when people espouse that new things are bad when all they actually want are old things continually fed to them.

Does it ever get boring trying to act tough online every time you see one of my posts?

I'm not trying to be tough. As a matter of fact, I'll make it a point to not be mean, in any way. My point is that you've checked out an album by a rather well-known artist. It's not an example of how bad today's music is but of the fact that you're not looking for anything beyond what you already know and are comfortable with.

There is a lot of great new music out there. It's just harder to find because there's so much crap you have to sift through to find it. It was pretty bad from 2005 to 2010 imo, but it's really back in swing now. Also, you have to branch out to find new artists. Relying on old standbys will not lead you to fresh sounds.
