NOLA [Rude, NYC]
Nola has been navigating the scene in Brooklyn for over 6 years,
putting together events in and around the city. A consummate digger
known for playing marathon sets, his sound can best be described as
a methodically unpredictable trip into funk. For the last three years,
he has been the featured DJ for the Rude event series in New York,
known for their summer boat parties and gatherings in and around
Brooklyn. His sound has progressively caught the attention of many
around the dance community in New York. In 2011, he was featured
on the main dance stage at the "Escape to NY" festival, alongside
many of New York's finest DJs and live acts.
In April, Nola will be the resident DJ for the Rude series as they
kick off a Brooklyn-based event, Les Nuits de Montreal, which will
showcase Montreal's finest DJs and live acts. Details for this series
